It’s no secret that many people are looking for a way to supplement their income or replace their income working from home.  Working at home is not for everyone, but those who endeavor to give it all they have, often do well enough to continue with it.  For anyone considering making extra money working from home, you need to know these three elements to succeed, working from home.

There are many methods and strategies to making money online, but all of those methods and strategies can be broken down to three elements that everyone with an online business needs.  The three things every person must have to be success with an business online are desire, knowledge, and time.

You must have the desire to be in business for yourself or it is going to be difficult for you to go the distance without some degree of motivation.  When the going gets tough, you will have to go on, when you’ve rested enough to continue.  Your home office will become your home and your family will seem like distance relatives while you’re building your business, but if you lack desire, you may not have the stamina to see your efforts through.

The second element that every online entrepreneur must have is knowledge.  Knowledge of the business you’re in or considering and at the very least, the willingness to learn all that you can about marketing online.  The ability to do things differently and accept new concepts with the knowledge that you’re acquiring is essential to keep abreast of your business and your marketing medium.  The Internet is the ultimate marketing medium and you will have to learn as much as you can to take advantage of its vast opportunities that it affords.

The third element is time.  Time, along with desire and knowledge, gives you the ability to grow your business to the level of profitability that makes it all worth while.  Time also gives you moments to reflect on the mistakes made along the way and the opportunities to correct them.  Time will seem to stand still, if you need income right away from your online business and time will seem to pass by too quickly, when the cost of running your business come due.  Time will let you know how well or how poorly, you’re doing, but most of all, time will let you know if you have enough desire or have enough knowledge to succeed.

If, you lack any one of these three elements, desire, knowledge or time, you will have to accept that fact early on and take actions to correct those elements you lack.  You can elect to have more desire, more knowledge, but time is finite, so you will have to work within the timeframe you have.  You could also elect to outsource the one element or two that you lack, in the short-term, but for long-term success, it would be in your best interest to desire to know more about your business online and to manage your time wisely.

What do broke people and poor people  have in common?  Nothing really.   A visitor to Affiliatester asked a few days ago and even though I felt that I answered the question online, I felt that I needed to explain myself further?  Here is what I have observed over the last half-century about people that are broke and poor people. Broke people are generally without cash flow for a short period of time and often have income coming to them at a later date or in the future.  A broke person being broke is usually temporary, even though, their being broke may occur with such frequency, that they are nonetheless labeled as such, a broke person.  The attitude of a broke person is generally upbeat and optimistic about the future.

Contrast this observed opinion about broke people with that of poor people and you may come to this conclusion and explanation that  poor people on the other hand generally exhibit an attitude of general malaise or a pessimistic outlook about their lives and their future.  Poor people more often than not, don’t have any income coming to them, now or in the future.  If, a person who does find themselves in this category does have income coming to them, it is usually not enough to support them or lift them from their thinking.

A poor person’s condition is often permanent, primarily due to their attitude and unwillingness to adapt to the changing environment around them.  There are those of course who emulate to elevating their condition through sheer persistence, education, the proper tools and application of that education and tools.  So, it is presumptious of me to think that a broke person or a poor person can not improve their lot in life.  It would be like me denying how far I’ve come, to overcome both being poor and being broke and you can too, with the proper attitude, education and tools that will make your success a no-brainer.

Mindset is our attitude about who we feel we are and what we are to those who interact with us.  At the very core of our attitudes is our response to this attitude which could reflect our positive outlook about ourselves and the things that we are involved in family, friends and business.  Our attitudes are like the barometer of how we feel and how people feel when we interact with them both online and offline.  If, our attitude is positive our experiences are positive.  If, attitude is negative than we can expect frustration and discontent with ourselves and the way others may see us.  So, it’s important to maintain a healthy and positive attitude whenever we can.  It helps to understand the paradox of how our positive attitude reflects the absence of a negative attitude and vice versa.

Mindset is the hope that we cultivate by reinforcing our thoughts that you can do this.  You can be successful at this because you have been successful at doing this or that in the past and success is not a stranger to you.  You persist in doing those things that you’ve done in the past to ensure the best possible outcome even when failure haunts your every step of the way.  It is your positive attitude that preservers and failure is soon eclipsed by success and that ignites the hope you already have and inertia takes hold like the wind under an eagle’s wing and you find yourself soaring towards your goal as if you’re powered by some divine power.

That divine power that you feel is the euphoria you get when you can sense the nearness of accomplishment.  It is a sense of emptiness that is no more and a moment that reflects back to the dreams that keep you tossing and turning in the night, only to reveal them in your waking moment.  Mindset is pursuing your dreams even when you don’t really understand the meaning of the dream.  It means recalling what woke you up in the middle of the night and explaining to others who have no idea what you’re talking about why the dream was so significant to you, that you want to share it with everyone dear to you. 

Mindset is the willingness to walk in the shadows of your dream all of your life, until step from inside the shadow and shine.  You shine because you are doing you!  You shine because you have accepted your hopes, your dreams and now your aspirations as being the some of who you are and are now prepared to show the world, the real you.  Do you and no one can take your identity away if you are realistic and forthcoming with those who inhabit the moments with you both online and offline.  Mindset is all about you and the willingness to learn from yourself, others and when you’re comfortable with all of that, share you with everyone who comes seeking help with whatever it is they are trying to find within themselves.  Mindset is doing you, while branding the opportunity to help others as you’ve been helped.  Do this from your heart and your mindset will produce an aura that is not only infectious, but contagious.
